Summer Friday Notes

Dear Families,
Thank you so much for joining us this summer! To our new families anticipating a new school year! We are so excited!
Our kindergarten class that was held in the cottage suffered through deep waters – one episode before the floods and then during the floods – so we’re in the midst of re-evaluating structural changes as well as repairing the damage of broken pipes and flooring replacement. All of which is too much to consider completing before school starts. So Mrs. McKinley is setting up in the convent! She has a great room site adjacent to our dining room and lots of space!!! The kids will love it and so will the sisters.
Remember next week, we are closed! Teacher training sessions will be all week – with time to spend sprucing up our classrooms. We invite you for Open House! Saturday, August 14 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
There seems to be some confusion on our dress code for LC 4 – Villa Teresa t-shirts and navy or khaki pants or skirts are acceptable Monday – Thursday and free dress on Fridays.
If per chance, you ordered school supplies and did not choose home delivery – please call. Several have been delivered here at school – but some have no names – so we don’t know where to put them.
If you are looking for volunteer hours before school starts – our yard attendant would appreciate some help as well as some cleaning projects in the school. Just give us a call in the office.
