Friday Summer Notes

May 29, 2009

Welcome to Villa Teresa’s Summer Program!

We are so excited to see so many of you! This is a preliminary letter – most of you are not with us yet! And those who don’t receive this initial letter will receive it on Monday or through our e-mailing.

We are having some beautiful weather!  Please remember to bring sunscreen for as long as it stays in the 80’s we plan to take advantage of being outside. Monday – swimming begins as well as for grades 1-4,5th arts and crafts, Discovery and P. E. . We are offering some tutoring once we get into a schedule between the swimming classes. Don’t forget to bring your signed permission slips for swimming – your child will not be allowed to go into the water without it. Please remember once the formal program starts, toys are not allowed. We will try on a trial basis for toys on Fridays.

We welcome several new faces to our Summer Program – Ms Kelsey will assist Sr. Stephanie in arts and crafts; Jeanie Ciupak (who is also our fourth grade teacher for next year) will join Johnny Dowds in being our swimming instructors. We have Ms Marianne  assisting in LC 4. We welcome back Zachary Mesarick who is our new pool operator. We also also welcome back Ms Kathryn who will be helping in Kindergarten.

Thanks to Allegra, Desiree and Mitchell for continuing to work this summer. Camille Harding will be our P. E. teacher, Ms Halina and Mr. Paul for Kindergarten, Sr. Joseph Marie is teaching our Discovery clas.

Our summer theme is “Discover Our Wonderful World” with the first week devoted to Imagination! We’re excited to begin this summer. May the Lord bless all of you and thank you for entrusting us with your most precious gift, your children.
