Summer Thursday Notes

Dear Families,  

Have a great Fourth of July weekend! Remember we have no school tomorrow nor daycare! Today the children enjoyed a fantastic Fourth of July Parade.  

Remember if your child is K-4th grade, we are having a special entertainer next Friday which requires a payment of $2.00. Please turn in the payment to the school office.  

As the summer progresses, I know the information sheet that was given is somewhere stored – not close by. We do have a dress code in the summer that is related to safety issues. We ask that you have your child wear closed toe shoes – being on the playground and doing many activities – tennis shoes is the best – all the students take P. E. and with sand and woodchips – it’s more comfortable when the foot is enclosed. No flip flops are worn except to the pool for swimming time.  

Also be careful in signing out – make sure the name you initial is for your child. We’ve had a couple of times when the name above or below your child’s name was accidentally signed.  

Let us remember to pray for our country and its leaders this weekend.
