Fourth Grade Teacher: Kathleen Turner
My name is Kathleen Turner. This is my first year in Oklahoma City and at Villa Teresa School. I have taught fifth grade for several years in the Tulsa area. I enjoy horseback riding and jogging. My favorite subjects to teach are math and science.
First Grade: Cassie Herd
My name is Cassie Herd. I have a Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have experience as a dance instructor and as a member of the youth ministry team at Christ the King Church. I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas and now live in northwest Oklahoma City with my husband, Mike.
Villa Teresa Advisory Council
The Villa Teresa Advisory Council is a group of prayerful believers in Catholic education who share resources and stimulate support to insure the academic and spiritual growth of the Villa Teresa community.
Membership of the Advisory Council is from those interested in the future of Villa Teresa. They come from various backgrounds – legal, civic, financial. Some are former parents, current parents, and members of the Carmelite Council who are not teachers in the school.
The Council meets to offer advice for your principal and plans for the future of Villa Teresa School.
